The Little Gallery Brohm is an initiative of the \u201cKultur- und Heimatverein Brohm e.V.\u201d (association devoted to the preservation and maintenance of culture and regional traditions) and was founded in 2002. \u00a0 Since then it has hosted 3-4 exhibitions of paintings, graphic works, photography, design and artisan craftwork. Every work stands for an independent, individual and distinctly visual implementation. \u00a0 In addition to realistically designed natural experiences and documentations, collages, montages, overpaintings etc. that seek to alienate and abstract are presented. The exhibition concept is based on the specifics of contemporary art.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Vernissages, which always take place on a Saturday, are given a musical framework and with the laudations give insight into the works and room for interesting discussions with the artists. Opening dates and duration of exhibitions can be found in the event calendar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<\/figure>\n\n\n\n
The Kultur- und Heimatverein Brohm e.V. encourages awareness of the cultural heritage in the former villages of the municipality in various ways, drawing attention to this cultural landscape that has been shaped by humans for 3000 years – to understand it as a legacy of our ancestors, which must be preserved, utilised, but also cared for. A related historical analysis was published in three different brochures, available at the Chronikst\u00fcbchen in the parish hall of Brohm. \u00a0 The main focus of work is currently:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
